這件作品是我嘗試與一個城市和生活區塊建立關係的一次實驗。我設定了四段來回行走的路線，在每一次的行走中用一捲底片記錄下行走過程，在十多次（十多公里）的行走經驗下，我用步行的距離和累積的影像構築出我對這個生活區塊的觀察與痕跡。

 

我嘗試用步行的方式去建立與一個城市和生活區塊的關係，我看似在搜集這個區域的影像，卻是不斷的以實踐的方式去建立生活在這個區域的實在感，用不斷的行走試圖理解、體驗這個地區。其中，我採集到這個區域所共享的生活氛圍與樣貌以及人們如何居住在這裡的生活型態等，再而去思考我自己又是如何居住與生活在這裡。進而回應我的創作脈絡：試圖找尋可行的方式去居住、歸屬於某個地方，或許甚至我可以歸屬、安居於任何地方。

It’s an experiment that I tried to make connection with a city and living area. I set four paths to walk back and forth. Every time I took a walk on one path, I recorded the process of walking with a roll of negative. After walking 10 times (10 km) of the paths, I constructed the perspective and tracks I observed in this living area.

 

I tried to make connection with a city and living area through walking. It seems that I was collecting images of the area, it’s more like making sense of reality to living in the area through practicing, trying to experience and understand the area with continuously walking. At the mean time, I’ve also collected a living atmosphere and appearance sharing between the area by taking and arranging photos. Enhance to think how I am living and residing here. It all coming back for respond to the context of my creation: trying to find a feasible way to live and belong to somewhere, even to belong and settle anywhere.
