《Recoloration》採用「日曆」來作為創作的材料。我以「著色」作為一個行動，擷取從2022年10月回溯過去12個月的日曆來做為著色的素材。若是有在使用Google日曆的話，那對於會用各種不同顏色來區別活動性質的動作應該不陌生。我自己習慣將所有的行程記錄在Google日曆上，因此上面充滿了資訊。

對於日曆，我們並不會特別去回顧過去的事情，畢竟他們是為了提醒未來的事項而存在，不是用來回憶的。因此，把這些事項拿來重新著色，對我來說，更像是一種畫家的遊戲，對於觀眾來說，也更像是在看著色與排列，而不是上面記載了什麼文字內容。

《Recoloration》used “calendrer” as a material to create. I chose “coloration” as an action and took calendrers from the past 12 months (from Oct 2022) as the material to color. If you are using google calendrer, you will know that we used different colors to mark different events. I am really used to note all the things that going to happen on google calendrer, so there are  many information on it. 

Altought, we don’t particularly review notes in the past, after all, they exist for reminding our future events, not to preserve memories. Thus, recoloring these notes and bars for me, I imagined it to be a game as a painter painting. For audience, they are also looking at the color process and color layout, but not the contents.

《N’avais Jamais》是我在學習法語的時候，有一個文法是說“我從來沒有看過雪”，但是在這句話的表達下，他代表了一件完成的事情。於是，我開始列下365句從我離開台灣後，第一次經歷的事情。有一種形式的日曆，是當你過了一天後，你會撕下一張，不過雖然我同樣是採用日曆的形式，但是他卻更偏向保存回憶，將所有的經驗集合起來。

《N’avais Jamais》 comes from the experience when I was learning French. There is a grammar structure like this, for example, when I say I had never seen snow before, but when I express it, it now means a thing that had happened. So, I started to list down 365 phrases that things I have experience for the first time after leaving Taiwan. There is a kind of calendrer that when a day pass, you ripe one off. It’s just like that, but with the similar form of calendrer, mine is more like to preserve memories and collect all the new experiences I have in France.
